To cook sausage on the stovetop, place a link in a pan filled with approximately 2 inches of boiling water. Adjust the cook setting to medium and allow it to heat for approximately 8 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the sausage reaches 160°F.
For microwave cooking, put the link in a microwave-safe dish, ensuring there is about 1/4 inch of water. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the sausage reaches 160°F. Let the link sit for 1 minute before serving. Keep in mind that cooking times may vary due to different oven settings.
To grill sausage, preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the link on the grill and turn it frequently. Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the sausage reaches 160°F.
